“What is it?”

“It’s a recording, I made it by accident. I don’t know who it is but it sounds bad, like someone is up to, to...I don’t know what. I’d rather not send it over the datanet.”

“Well, okay, we can talk about it later,” Lindsay said, clearly not convinced that it was a serious matter. “Right now, though, shouldn’t you be getting to the basketball game?”

The game! “Oh, right! I’ll be there in a few minutes!” She sighed with frustration. This would have to come up now.

The recording would just have to wait.
